Spectaclular Carnarvon Gorge lies hidden in the rugged ranges of Queensland’s Central Highlands. Over millions of years, running water has carved a gorge system through soft sandstone – creating majestic cliffs that change colour with the movement of the sun. Carnarvon Creek flows year round, giving life to a luxuriant growth of ancient ferns and palms, abundant wildlife and birds, amd Aboriginal rock art sites.
